Order of Data Refreshes

For a given source, the pipeline can run only one refresh at a time.

For example, if a Scheduled Refresh is in progress, the system places the Frequent Data Refresh for that source in queue until the scheduled incremental refresh completes. Keep this in mind when setting refresh schedules and when initiating on-demand refreshes. Refreshes for different sources can run in parallel.

The system processes refresh requests in the order they’re received. If a refresh is already running, the system places additional requests in a queue. Scheduled incremental refresh has the highest priority and will run first if multiple requests are queued. See Schedule Incremental Data Refreshes. Frequent Data Refreshes are next in priority, and all other refreshes run in the order they were submitted. Contact Oracle customer support if you need a different order.
