Can I use a custom primary color that doesn't meet the accessibility requirements for my theme?

Yes. You can override the accessibility checks to use a custom primary color that doesn’t meet the defined color contrast accessibility requirements.

To apply a Redwood theme with your custom color:
  1. In Sandboxes, create a sandbox or enter an existing one. Make sure the sandbox includes the Appearance tool. Don’t use spaces or special characters in the sandbox name.
  2. From the sandbox Tools menu, select Appearance.
  3. Create or edit a Redwood theme and select your custom color as the primary color.
  4. Select Override accessibility checks and use primary color.
  5. Apply the theme and then publish the sandbox.
