Why is my display name on the home page different from that on other Fusion Applications pages?

Your display name on the home page can be displayed using either of these settings.

• Global name: Uses your enterprise's default (global) language
• Local name: Uses the local-language version of your name

If your language preference for the display name matches the language of your local name, the home page shows your local name. Otherwise, it shows your global name. For example, let’s say your enterprise’s language is American English and the language for your local name is Japanese. If you’ve set the language preference for the display name as Japanese, you see the display name on the home page in Japanese. Any other preference shows the global (American English) version.
