Keyword Searches
Your customers use common words or phrases, or keywords, in their searches. This report identifies the keywords or phrases they use most often, and the number of answers in the knowledge base that apply to the keywords.
The application displays the keyword as a stem word. The stem of a word is the root form of the word without any affixes. For example, the word work is the stem for the words works, working, and workplace.
Column | Description |
---|---|
Phrase Stem |
The phrase stem that your users searched during the date range you select on the Filters window. A phrase stem shows words sharing the same or similar root. A phrase stem also can be a product or product name. |
Search Count |
The number of searches that included the
phrase stem. Note: The values in this column may not match the values
in Answers column. This happens because this column shows the total number of answers to a question, including answers users
may not be able to access such as similar question links or filtered
subsets. Therefore, this column helps you identify the total number of answers for the question, not the number of answers your users actually accessed. |
Answers |
The number of answers that Analytics returns for the keyword. Select the link in this column to see the search string for this answer. |
