Tune Questions with Manage Search Query

The Intelligent Search application responds to end-user requests by providing answers derived from your organization's knowledge base content. You can improve the search results for user questions by using Manage Search Query (MSQ) to tune questions so that Search returns the most useful answers.

When you tune a user question, you are adding or changing objects in the Search dictionary; for more information about the dictionary see Objects and Relationships in the Dictionary.

MSQ enables you to tune questions using the following processes.

• Work with Tuning Requests. You can add, delete, or edit tuning requests.

• Tune Questions. You can tune the questions by adding or editing concepts and synonyms.

• Analyze Tuning Impact on Similar Questions. You can view how tuning changes affect other questions that are similar to the tuned question.
