Enable Oracle Messaging

Oracle Messaging is available for B2C Service customers with a valid Chat subscription. You can enable Oracle Messaging for a B2C Service site from the Site Operations drop-down list on any of the site's interface pages.

Before you start

Make sure Chat is already enabled on the interface. If Chat is not enabled, then the Enable Oracle Messaging menu will be greyed out. For more information, see Enable Chat.

Here's what to do

  1. On the main page, find the B2C Service site for which you want to enable Oracle Messaging.
  2. Click on the site name.
  3. Click Interfaces.
  4. Find the interface for which you want to enable Oracle Messaging.
  5. Click the Interface Operations icon, represented by three vertical dots, and select Enable Oracle Messaging from the drop-down list.
  6. Click Yes, and then click OK in the confirmation window.

What to do next

  • Keep checking Operation Status in the Request Status section at the top until the status changes to Success.
  • After Oracle Messaging is successfully enabled on an interface, you need to perform some additional setup tasks on the B2C Service site. For more information, refer Oracle Messaging documentation.
