Delete an Opportunity

If your profile gives you permission to delete opportunities, the Delete button is available on the ribbon. When you delete an opportunity, you permanently remove it from the knowledge base.

Caution: Deleting an opportunity is permanent and cannot be undone.

1. From an open opportunity, click Delete.
   A message asks you to confirm the deletion.
2. Click Yes to delete the opportunity.
   Note: Transactions associated with those opportunities are deleted asynchronously. Purging transactions is controlled by data lifecycle management policies. See Data Lifecycle Management.
