When you insert an answer link, you can also insert an
anchor in the answer you are linking to. The answer link will open
to a specific location within the answer.
For example, you might have an answer that contains several
paragraphs of text, but the first paragraph does not contain information
that will answer the customer’s question. Using an anchor, you can
quickly link to a specific location.
- Right-click the answer on the content pane, then select Open.
- Insert the cursor in the exact location of the answer to
which you want to link.
-
Click the Anchor icon on the toolbar.
The Anchor Properties window opens.
- Enter a name for the anchor in the Anchor Name field.
- Click OK to add the anchor at the
cursor position in the answer.
- To rename an anchor, double-click the anchor to open the Anchor Properties window.
- To delete an anchor, right-click the anchor and click Delete.
