Use a Menu-Only Object in a Custom Object

You can create a menu-only object in a custom object.

  1. Edit the custom object that will use the menu field.
    Tip: In addition to populating menu fields in objects, you can use menu-only objects to populate the options for system attributes with menu data types.
  2. Click Fields .
  3. Edit or add a menu field to the custom object.
  4. Click Menu Field Settings > Menu and select the menu-only object you created.
  5. Click Save.
  6. Deploy the custom objects when you are ready.
