Managing sources
Once you create a source, you can manage it from the Sources page.
Accessing the Sources page
To access the Sources page:

Click the Oracle icon
in the bottom-right corner to open the navigation menu.
- Select Sources.
Working with sources
When the page is displayed, it shows information for each source created in Oracle Unity. The following diagram describes the information and management options available for a source.
Unpublished changes: The red icon identifies sources that have been edited, but the updates have not been published. You can click the Publish changes button to implement the changes. Learn more about Publishing changes.
Source name: The name entered when creating the source.
Server details: Displays the SFTP server name and folder name for the source.
Ingest jobs: Displays the number of ingest jobs using the source. Hover your mouse over the number of ingest jobs to view the names of the ingest jobs.
Source action menu: View the customization menu for a source.
- Edit: Change the configuration of the source.
- Copy: Create a copy of the source. Enter a name and description and click Confirm. When you create a copy of a source, the new Source ID is auto-populated with "Copy_of_" before the name of the copied Source ID.
- Rename: Change the name and description of the source. You can use characters from all languages supported in the language settings.
- Delete: Remove a source. This option is only available if the source is currently not being used for any ingest jobs, whether the job is published or not. This option will be disabled if it's not available.
Tip: To delete a source that is being used by ingest jobs, you would have to edit the ingest jobs to use a different source and publish the changes. You could then delete the source, and publish that change. Learn more about Managing ingest jobs and Publishing changes.
To publish all the changes made to a source, click Publish changes. Learn more about Publishing changes.
