Oracle CX Sales troubleshooting tips for exporting data
Review these troubleshooting tips when Setting up the export of data to Oracle CX Sales.
You can review the status and any error messages of Oracle Unity campaigns by accessing Job logs from the Jobs dashboard.
Invalid username/password
Issue: The job log displays an invalid username or password error message.
Try this: Verify that the authentication settings configured in the destination are correct.
Mapping number not present in CX Sales
Issue: The job log displays a failure to retrieve CX Sales object error message.
Try this: This error is generated if there is an error with the mapping between Oracle Unity personalization attributes and CX Sales attributes. To resolve this, confirm that you have done the following:

Correctly configured the field mapping in CX Sales.

Correctly selected the segment from segment selection section of the Oracle Unity campaign.

Correctly selected the File Import Mapping for the Oracle Unity campaign.

Mapped all the Oracle Unity personalization attributes from the segment to CX Sales attributes when you Set up field mapping in CX Sales.
User doesn't have required roles
Issue: The job log displays a user has no access error message.
Try this: This error is generated when the user trying to import data into CX Sales doesn't have the required roles in CX Sales. To resolve this, ensure that the user has all the required roles for import management. Review these roles from the CX Sales Help Center.
Java not found on the node
Issue: The job log displays a Java not found on the node message.
Try this: This error is generated when the External Data Loader Client, which is needed to transfer data between Oracle Unity and CX Sales, doesn't have Java installed in all nodes. To resolve this, create a service request with Oracle Support.
Invalid object
Issue: The job log displays an invalid object error message.
Try this: This error is generated when CX Sales doesn't recognize the object being imported. To resolve this, confirm that CX Sales supports imports into the object and that the object has the required permissions.
Invalid External Data Loader Client Jar name
Issue: The job log displays an unable to access jarfile error message.
Try this: This error is generated when the External Data Loader Client Jar included in the configuration is invalid. To resolve this, create a service request with Oracle Support.
Connection failure
Issue: A connection failure message displays when configuring the authentication settings for a CX Sales destination.
Try this: Verify that the authentication settings configured in the destination are correct.
CX Sales object not displaying
Issue: A custom object is not displaying in the Display Name field in CX Sales.
Try this: This occurs when the user doesn't have the required permissions. To resolve this, ensure the user has the following role: ORA_CRM_EXTN_ROLE.
