Accessing Audit and User Reports in Oracle Cloud Identity Console

The audit and user reports are generated for the Audit Retention Period of 30 (default), 60 or 90 days as specified in Default Settings of your identity domain. To configure audit retention period, see Change Default Settings in Administering Oracle Identity Cloud Service.

To access reports in Identity Cloud Service:
  1. Sign into Oracle Cloud Identity Console as a Service Administrator or an Oracle Enterprise Performance Management Cloud user assigned to an Identity Domain Administrator role. See Accessing the Oracle Cloud Identity Console (IDCS).
  2. In the Navigation drawer, click Reports.
A list of available reports is displayed.
  3. Click the name of the report you want to view or download. Audit reports are listed in the Applications section and Login reports in the Users section of the screen.
  4. Optional: Generate the report for a custom date range:
    1. Click Custom Dates.
    2. Enter the start and end date to identify the custom period for which you want to generate the report. Alternatively, use the calendars to choose the start and end date of the custom period.
The report refreshes to display the information for the selected custom period.

      Note:

If the Start date is not within the audit retention period specified in default identity domain settings, the report is not generated and you get an error message.
  5. Optional: Click Download Report to download the report as a CSV file.
