Resetting User Password
Identity Domain Administrators can reset user's password. When the password reset is successful, the system automatically generates a new temporary password and mails it to the user. Users are required to change the temporary password the next time they sign in.
To reset user password:
- Sign into IAM Interface as an Identity Domain Administrator in the source domain. See: Accessing IAM Interface.
- Click Users under Identity
Domain.
The User Management page appears.
- Select the check box for each user account for which you want to reset
the password.
Note:
To reset the passwords for all user accounts, do not select any check boxes, and go to Step 4. - Click More, and then perform one of the following
choices.
- If you selected one or more user accounts, select Reset Password and then, click OK.
- If you want to reset the passwords for all accounts, select Reset All Passwords and then, click OK.
