Configuring an Oracle NetSuite Connection
You can configure a secure connection in Data Integration to facilitate data exchange with NetSuite.
Administrators can register a NetSuite integration, provide the required credentials in Data Integration, generate an authorization token in NetSuite, and test the connection. This streamlines the setup and validation while reducing authentication risk.
Before you configure a NetSuite connection in Data Integration, make sure that you've configured NetSuite for OAuth2.0.
To configure a NetSuite connection:
- From the Data Integration page, go to Actions > Setup > Applications.
- On the Applications page, click Actions > Configure Connections.
- On the Connections page, click
, and then click NetSuite.
- On the Create connection: NetSuite window, specify the following:
- Name and a brief Description for the integration.
- Consumer Key Type
- Connector Key Type: Select any of the following:
- Default: Specify Token Key, Token Secret, and Account.
- Custom: Select Connector
Type as NSPB Sync or
EPM Connector.
Connector Type Fields NSPB Sync Consumer Key Consumer Secret Token Key Token Secret Account EPM Connector Authentication Type: - Token Based: Consumer Key, Consumer Secret, Token Key, Token Secret, and Account
- OAuth2.0: Consumer Key, Consumer Secret, and Account
- Click Generate Token.
The NetSuite login window is displayed, where you must login and allow the connection.
- After generating the token, you must test the connection from Data Integration to complete the OAuth configuration. Go back to the Create connection: NetSuite window and click Test Connection to confirm that Data Management can connect to NetSuite successfully.
