Defining a Simple Member-Level Mappings
To define a simple member-level mapping:
- Open Data Exchange, and then click Data Maps.
- Click Create.
- Enter a name and description for the data map.

Make your Source and Target
selections as follows:

Under Source, select a cube from the available cubes for the current application.

Under Target, select a cube from the available cubes for the target.
If you are using a different (cross) application, under Target, and then from the Cube drop-down, select Select Remote Cube. For more information, see Using a Cross Application Smart Push.
The current mappings for the selected source and target cubes are displayed under Source and Target, and any unmapped dimensions are displayed under Unmapped Dimensions.

Optional. Change the current mappings and map any
unmapped dimensions.
To change the current mappings, see Changing Mapping Information for a Dimension.
To map unmapped dimensions, see Moving Unmapped Dimensions.
- Define data map options.
- Optional: Use the populate detailed mappings feature to edit detailed mappings. For more information, see Populating Detail Mappings.

Click Save and Close.
The new data map is added to the end of the data maps list.
