Using a Copy from SFTP Job Type

Use the Copy from SFTP job type to copy a file directly from a secure SFTP server to an Oracle Fusion Cloud EPM environment.

Note:

You cannot copy from SFTP to the Outbox.

If the IP allowlist is enabled for the SFTP server, you must add the outbound IP address of the OCI region that hosts the Cloud EPM environments to the IP allowlist of the SFTP server. See Outbound IP Addresses of Cloud EPM Data Centers and Regions in the Operations Guide for the outbound IP addresses of OCI regions.

As a prerequisite to using the Copy from SFTP job type, you need to define the SFTP server connection using EPM Connections. For more information, see Connecting Environments in Cloud EPM in Administering Planning.

Copy from SFTP Job Type Parameter Description
SFTP Connection

Specify the connection of the SFTP server from which to copy the file, for example, sftp//myserver.

This is the Connection name that is created in Connections.

Source File Name

Specify the location and name of the file you want to copy from the Cloud EPM.

Specify the path if you are not copying from the default source location.

For example, mydir/File_New.txt

Target File Folder

Specify the target directory to which files are copied.

The target directory can be: Inbox (inbox folder in Data Integration), openbatch, openbatchml and the EPMInbox (Planning inbox folder).

You cannot copy from SFTP to the Outbox.

Target File Specify the name of the target file name of the downloaded artifact.
