Supplemental doclets provide a convenient way to share supporting material with report package users without including that material in the published report.

You can use supplemental doclets for procedures, authoring instructions, and other supporting material intended for report package users. However, supplemental doclets are not merged into the final report and are not available for comments during review or sign off.
