Working in the Jobs Console

The Jobs console enables you to see a record of both submitted and pending jobs. You can use the Jobs console to create, edit, delete, submit, schedule, run, and duplicate certain types of jobs.

You can access the Jobs console from these places in Enterprise Profitability and Cost Management:

  • From the Home page, select Application, and then Jobs.

  • From the Home page, select Modeling, and then Jobs.

  • From any of the pages in the Application or Modeling cluster, select the Jobs card above the page.

The following tabs are available at the bottom of the Jobs console:

Tab Descripton
All Jobs

Shows all jobs, including jobs that are processing, completed, have errors, completed with a threshold violation, are pending cancellation, have been cancelled, completed with errors, and completed with warnings.

Pending Shows all pending jobs that have been scheduled to run. Scheduled jobs show when the job has been scheduled to run; for example, "In 20 minutes" or "Tomorrow at 11:25 am".
Model Operations

Model Operations: Use this tab to submit, schedule, or delete "Calculate Model", "Clear Point of View", "Copy Point of View", and "Delete Point of View" jobs that were defined and saved as a job using PMC Agent. See Using PCM Agent to Calculate a Model, Using PCM Agent to Clear a Point of View, Using PCM Agent to Copy a Point of View, and Using PCM Agent to Delete a Point of View.

Note: You must save the job that you defined in PCM Agent in order for it to be displayed on the Model Operations tab. If you proceed with the job without saving it, it will be displayed on the All Jobs tab, but not on the Model Operations tab.
