Job Type	Description
Administration Mode	Changes the login level for a business process. If you select Administrators, all non-administrative users will be logged off from the application after job execution. To restore access to an application for all users, select All users. See the Enable Use of the Application for setting in System Settings.
Auto Predict	Not applicable to Enterprise Profitability and Cost Management
Batch Calculation	Job that is created as a result of running a calculation on the Calculation Control page. If you selected more than one POV to calculate, the Batch Calculation job summarizes information about all the POVs selected to calculate. Separate calculation jobs are also created for each individual POV. See Calculating Models.
Change Hybrid Configuration	Not applicable to Enterprise Profitability and Cost Management
Clear Cell Details	Not applicable to Enterprise Profitability and Cost Management
Clear Cube	Performs a cube clearing operation. See Clearing Cubes for information about clearning cubes and creating Clear Cube jobs. Clear Point of View	Job that is created as a result of clearing a point of view either through the Enterprise Profitability and Cost Management application or with the "Clear Data by Point of View" REST API. See Clearing a Point of View in this guide and Clear Data by Point of View in REST API for Oracle Enterprise Performance Management Cloud.
Compact Outline	Compacts the outline file of a cube. Compaction helps keep the outline file at an optimal size. Compacting the outline doesn't clear the data. Running this job won't push any changes from the business process to Oracle Essbase. See Compacting the Outline. Content Update	The application is automatically refreshed during an application update. Information about the refresh is captured in the Content Update job, which propagates the changes introduced during the daily maintenance of the environment. See Setting Content Update Start Time.
Convert 1.0 Dashboards to 2.0	Converts Dashboard 1.0 to Dashboard 2.0. See Creating and Managing Dashboards 1.0 and Creating and Managing Dashboards 2.0.
Copy Data	Copies datafrom one dimensional intersection to another, including relational data and supporting detail. See Copying Data.
Copy Point of View	Job that is created as a result of copying a point of view either through the Enterprise Profitability and Cost Management application or with the "Copy Data by Point of View" REST API. See Copying a Point of View in this guide and Copy Data by Point of View in REST API for Oracle Enterprise Performance Management Cloud.
Data Map	Job that is created as a result of creating data mappings between a source application and a target reporting application. See Defining Data Maps in Administering Data Integration for Oracle Enterprise Performance Management Cloud.
Delete Point of View	Job that is created as a result of deleting a point of view either through the Enterprise Profitability and Cost Management application or with the "Delete Point of View" REST API. See Deleting a Point of View in this guide and Delete Point of View in REST API for Oracle Enterprise Performance Management Cloud.
Execute Bursting Definition	Runs a report bursting job. If you're using the next-generation Reports reporting solution, the bursting feature enables you to run a single report or book for more than one member of a single dimension for one data source, and publish a PDF output for each member. Export Audit	Exports audit records to a Comma Separated Values (CSV) file. See Export Audit.
Export Cell-Level Security Definitions	Exports a cell-level security definition that was saved as a job. See Importing and Exporting Cell-Level Security Definitions.
Export Data	Performs a data export that was saved as a job. See Exporting Data Note: The system prevents this job from starting if it's scheduled to start while the daily maintenance process is running. Export Job Console	Exports records about the jobs in the Jobs console to a zip file titled allJobDetails<date>.zip. See Exporting Job Console Files.
Export Metadata	Exports metadata into a file using the settings specified in an export metadata job. See Exporting Metadata. Export Security	Exports the security records or access control list (ACL) records for specified users or groups to a Comma Separated Values (CSV) file. See Export Security.
Export Valid Intersections	Exports valid intersections that were save as a job. See Importing and Exporting Intersections,
Generate EPCM Report	Generates a Model Documentation report. See Generating a Model Documentation Report.
Import Audit	An EPM Automate command that imports data audit records from a ZIP file that you created by exporting audit data from an environment. See importAppAudit.
Import Cell-Level Security Definitions	Imports a cell-level security definition that was saved as a job. See Importing and Exporting Cell-Level Security Definitions.
Import Data	Imports data from a file in the repository into the application using the import data settings specified in the Import Data job type. See Import Data. Note: The system prevents this job from starting if it's scheduled to start while the daily maintenance process is running. Import Job Console	An EPM Automate command that clones job console records using a ZIP file containing job console records exported from an environment. See importJobConsole.
Import Metadata	Imports metadata from a file in the repository into the application using the import metadata settings specified in an import metadata job. See Importing Metadata. Import Security	Imports the security records or access control list (ACL) records from a Comma Separated Values (CSV) file. See Import Security.
Insights	Runs an IPM Insights insight definition. See Configuring IPM Insights.
Integration	Runs a data rule in Data Management or integration in Data Integration based on the parameters defined in the data rule or integration definition. See Scheduling a Data Rule, Integration, or Batch Definition to Run in the Job Scheduler
Integration Batch	Runs a batch definition based on parameters defined in Data Management. See Scheduling a Data Rule, Integration, or Batch Definition to Run in the Job Scheduler
Integration Maintenance Script	Runs a Maintenance Script based on parameters and variables in Data Management. See Scheduling Maintenance Scripts in the Job Scheduler.
Integration Pipeline	Runs a Pipeline definition. This job supports running a Pipeline based on the parameters and variables that were defined for the Pipeline in the Data Integration user interface; for example, Start Period and Import Mode. Invalid Intersection Reports	Runs a report that shows where data exists at invalid intersections. See Working With Invalid Intersection Reports.
Merge Data Slices	Merges incremental data slices of an aggregate storage cube. Fewer slices improve a cube’s performance. You can merge all incremental data slices into the main database slice or merge all incremental data slices into a single data slice without changing the main database slice. You can optionally remove cells that have a value of zero. See Merging Data Slices. Optimize Aggregation	Generates optimized views based on collected query tracking information in an Enterprise Profitability and Cost Management reporting cube (PCM_REP). Refresh Database	Refreshes the application database. See Refreshing the Application Database. Restructure Cube	Performs a full restructure of a block storage cube to eliminate or reduce fragmentation. This will also remove empty blocks. Running this job won't push any changes from the business process to Essbase. See Improving Cube Performance. Rules	Runs business rules created in Calculation Manager. See Creating and Managing Business Rules.
Rules Add Member	Adds a member to one or more rules. See Adding Members to Rules.
Rules Copy to Model	Copies one or more rules to a model. See Copying Rules to a Model.
Rules Copy to RuleSet	Copies one or more rules to a rule set. See Copying Rules to a Rule Set.
Rules Disable	Disables a rule or rules. Enabling and Disabling Rules.
Rules Enable	Enables a rule or rules. See Enabling and Disabling Rules.
Rules Replace Member	Finds a member in a rule and replaces it with another member. See Replacing Members in Rules.
Run Calculation	Job that is created as a result of running a calculation for a POV on the Calculation Control page. See Calculating Models.
Smart Push	Uses Smart Push to move data from one cube to another. See Moving Data from One Cube to Another Using Smart Push
Validate Model	Validates models to make sure there are no potential calculation failures. The Validate Model job is created when you use the Validate Model EPM Automate command or the Validate Model Rest API. If you run Model Validation from the Enterprise Profitability and Cost Management user interface, a job is not created.
