Clearing a Point of View
Clearing a point of view allows you to remove data without removing the point of view. You can clear some or all of the data and start over with new or different rules.
Tip:
You can clear multiple points of view at one time. For example, if you run a budget or forecast calculation job, you typically need to clear data from multiple periods.
To clear one or more points of view:
-
On the Calculation Control page, select the point(s) of view you want to clear.
-
Click the More Actions drop-down, and select Clear.
-
In the Clear Point of View dialog box, select a cube, and then select an option that relates to the level 0 members in the PCM_Balance and PCM_Rule regions.
