Editing Member Properties

The Edit Member Properties page displays dimensions and members in a grid format. With the grid format, dimensions and members are editable on a single page. You can edit member properties directly on the grid and you can perform ad hoc operations such as zooming in, zooming out, keep selected, remove selected, and freeze.

To edit member properties:

  1. From the Home page, select Application, and then Overview.

  2. On the Application page, select the Dimensions tab.

  3. Select a cube, and then click the name of the dimension for which you want to edit member properties.

  4. On the Edit Member Properties page, click within a grid cell to edit text or to view a drop-down menu from which you can choose member properties.

Each column in the grid represents a member property. The columns that initially display can be different based on which dimension you are editing. You can customize the layout of the columns by hiding, unhiding, or resizing columns. See Customizing the Column Layout.
