Scheduling Jobs to Run Now

To schedule jobs to run now:

  1. From the Jobs console, click the Actions drop-down, and select Schedule.

  2. On the General tab of the Schedule Job page, specify the following, and then click Next.

    • What type of job is this?: Select one of the job types listed. For more information on job types, see Job Types.

    • When do you want to run this job?: Select Run Now.

  3. On the Job Details tab, select a job from the job list, and then click Next.

    Note:

    • If you're running import or export jobs, you can run up to five jobs at one time.

    • For export jobs, you can specify a unique output file name for each job. From the jobs list, click Edit next to the selected job and specify the output file name with a zip extension. The unique file name you specify will override the default export file name when the job runs.

    • To prevent automatic backup from failing due to certain jobs running during daily maintenance, Oracle Enterprise Performance Management Cloud disallows certain jobs from starting while the daily maintenance process is running. If the system prevents a job from starting, the reason will be stated in the Job Details. If you've enabled email notifications for the Job Console, you'll receive an email notification when a job does not start. If you have a job that is scheduled to start during the daily maintenance process, it is recommended that you reschedule your job to start outside of the daily maintenance window.

  4. Review your choices. If satisfactory, click Finish.
