Move Multiple Segmentable Activities Using Group Action

You can use the group action feature on the Dispatch Console List view page to move multiple segmentable activities. However, you can see the Move option only if your administrator has configured it in the appropriate context layout page. When you try to reassign or reschedule short duration segmentable activities, they behave as regular activities. This means, you can select both, regular and segmentable activities from one resource and move them together to another.

The duration of the segment depends on how you've moved the segment: :

• Move a scheduled segment: Activity duration isn't changed upon move.
• Move from a non-scheduled to scheduled pool: If the remaining duration of the activity doesn't exceed the value set for Maximum segment duration for a single day configured for the activity type, then its remaining duration is applied while moving.
• Move from a non-scheduled to scheduled pool: If the remaining duration of the activity exceeds the value set for Maximum segment duration for a single day then the segmentable activity is displayed in the Do not move section of the Assignment Assistant with the message, 'Group assignment is not available for long-cycle activities'.
• The options Selected segment only and All segments scheduled for the day aren't available in the group move action.
