Add Time or Labor

You can use the Labor option to add the time you have spent on an activity, including any overtime.

  1. Log in to Oracle Field Service.
  2. Start the required activity. Or, open a started activity.
  3. Click Debrief on the Activity Details page.
  4. Click Add Charges and select Labor.
  5. Complete these fields:
    Field Action
    Billing Type Select the service for which you are adding labor. For example, Repair.
    Billing Item Select the sub-type for which you are adding labor. For example, Overtime.
    Start Time Select the time at which you started the activity.
    End Time Select the time at which you ended the activity.

    Duration shows the difference between the start and end times and displays two decimal places for fractional hours. This is to support the rate, which is defined as the amount of money per hour.

  6. Click Submit.
