View Activities in Multi-Day Mode in List View

The List View displays a chronological list of activities for the selected resource, group, or bucket, sorted by date and estimated start time. As a Dispatcher, you can view activities in single day, multi-day, week, and month modes. You can also see and assign non-scheduled activities from the same list. The multi-day view in Oracle Field Service lets you manage activities scheduled over several days. It's designed for scheduling future activities and doesn't support activities from past date ranges.

The Dispatch Console retains the vertical position of the List View in the following cases:
  • Navigating to activity details and returning to the List View.
  • Refreshing the list of activities, either manually or automatically.
  • Navigating to other pages and returning, as long as the selected resource, filters, and date remain unchanged.
  • Changing which columns are displayed using the Manage Columns page.
  • Opening or closing the split panel.
  • Moving activities using drag-and-drop or the Assignment Assistant.
  • Performing group changes or group cancellations.
  • Restoring the session after a period of inactivity.
Note: If multiple requests are processed simultaneously, the application may display a message such as "Unable to load list of activities" or "Too many requests in progress simultaneously." Wait a few moments and try again.
The vertical position doesn't persist when:
  • Changing filters, the selected resource, selected date, or sorting column.
  • Signing out and signing back in.
  • Closing and reopening the window
Note: Performance might be slower when Apply hierarchically is selected and custom sorting is active while displaying a large number of resource routes.

The toast message in the bottom right corner reflects the currently visible activities on the page while scrolling.

To access the Multi-Day List View:

  1. Sign in to Oracle Fusion Field Service as Dispatcher.
  2. Navigate to Dispatch Console and select List View.
  3. Select a resource, group, or bucket and then click the date editor.
  4. Select a mode to view the activities:
    • Day: Displays activities for single, selected date.
    • 2 Days: Dsiplays activities across two consecutive days starting from the selected date.
    • 3 Days: Displays activities across three consecutive days starting from the selected date.
    • Week: Displays activities for an entire week starting from the selected date.
    • Month: Displays activities for the entire period of selected month.
    • Non-Scheduled: Displays the list of activities that aren't scheduled. These activities can be assigned to the resource or route.
Note: If switching from Time View that includes past days, the List View automatically updates to display the selected date range.
  5. Click View, select Include non-scheduled activities, and click Apply to see both the scheduled and non-scheduled activities in the same list.
  6. To reassign activities, select them and drag onto a resource or route as needed.
