Add a Work Schedule in Oracle Fusion Field Service
Work schedules are templates that are made up of a combination of shifts (working time) and nonworking times. When grouped as a work schedule, you can apply these shifts all at once to a bucket or to an individual resource.
- In Fusion Setup and Maintenance, go to Navigator > My Enterprise > Offering Setup. Select the Field Service offering. In the Scheduling and Dispatch functional area, select the Shifts and Schedules task. The Shifts page displays all the shifts you've created so far.
- In the Setup field in the header, select Work Schedules.
-
Click the plus icon.
The Add Work Schedule drawer opens and displays the General and Translations tabs.
-
Complete these fields as needed:
- Enabled: Move the slider to enable the work schedule. The work schedule is disabled by default, you must enable it to assign it to resources.
- Label: Enter a unique identifier for the work schedule. This identifier is mapped to the REST API.
- Name: Enter a name for the work schedule. While the name must be representative of the work schedule time frame, there's no functional correlation between the name and the shifts that will be contained within the schedule.
- Organization: Select the organization with which you want to associate the work schedule. For example, if you operate in different countries or have multiple entities, select the organization that's specific to the country or entity in which the work schedule is used.
-
Click Add.
The work schedule is added.
-
To edit a work schedule, click Edit on the
Work Schedules page.
The Edit Work Schedule drawer opens, which is similar to the Add Work Schedule drawer. Make the changes as required and click Update.
-
To delete a work schedule, on the Work Schedules page
select Delete in the Actions
column.
You can't delete a work schedule that’s assigned to a resource or bucket. You must remove it from the resource or bucket first, and then delete it.
