Add or Edit Work Skills Within a Capacity Category

Note: This information applies to release version 26A and earlier. Starting from release 26B, all the Quota settings previously available on the Configuration > Capacity Categories and Configuration > Business Rules page are moved to the Quota > Configuration > Quota and Capacity Management page. A Capacity Category can contain one or more work skills and each work skill must meet a minimum required level.

  1. Open the Configuration page and click Capacity Categories.
  2. Select the Capacity Category that you want to modify.
  3. Click Edit Work Skills from the Actions corresponding to the selected Capacity Category.
  4. Select a work skill and add the minimum level of the skill required in the corresponding text box.
  5. Click Update.
    Note:
    • The work skill ratio is the minimum level of work skill available with the corresponding Capacity Category.
    • The default value of the work skill ratio is 1. You can edit the work skill ratio as per your business requirement.
    • The application matches an Activity to a Capacity Category only if the skill required for the activity is equal to or more than the Capacity Category's work skill ratio.
    • If a capacity category contains a group of work skills, the activity matches the category, if it requires at least one of work skills from the group.
