Configure Maintenance Resources in Oracle Fusion Field Service
You can configure calendar availability for maintenance labor resources in Oracle Fusion Field Service. Oracle Fusion Cloud Maintenance uses this availability to schedule maintenance work orders and operations.
Maintenance resources are available in Field Service environments that use the native Fusion platform and the common service data model used by Fusion applications. When the capability is enabled, maintenance labor resources are displayed only on the Field Resources page and are visible only to users who have permission to view the Maintenance Dispatch List.
Maintenance resources use a resource type role that is different from field resources.
Before you start
Ensure that:
- Your environment uses the native Fusion platform.
- The Support of Maintenance Resources in Oracle Fusion Field Service feature option is enabled.
- You have permission to view the Maintenance Dispatch List.
- The maintenance resource exists in the common service data model.

- Work schedules
- Shifts
- Custom working time
- Non-working time
