Atom Feeds are processes that detect changes to HCM cloud resources and ensure that
downstream applications that can read the feeds are updated accordingly. For Oracle Fusion Field Service purposes, there's only one feed that's necessary to have
enabled (should be by default) and it's called 'User Requests'. This feed is what lets you
see new user records and any potential changes to them within Oracle Fusion Field Service in near real-time.
Follow these steps to verify that the User Requests HCM Atom
Feed is enabled:
- Logged into Fusion Applications, click Navigator > My Enterprise > Setup and
Maintenance.
- Ensure that Field Service is selected in the Setup field in the
header.
-
Click Users and Security in the Functional Areas
section. If you don't see this task, click All Tasks.
-
Click Manage HCM Atom Feeds.
-
In the search bar, type 'user requests'.
This feed appears in the list.
-
Click the User Requests atom feed.
-
For now, simply verify that Enabled is selected.
If for some reason it's not, then select it.
-
If changed, then click Save and Close and
Done; if not, then click
Cancel and Done to return to
the Functional Areas task list.
