You can add buttons for the Asset Details plugin to the mobile worker's My
Route page. Use these buttons to let mobile workers search for nearby assets
or scan and search for an asset from the route page. Add the buttons in the Activity List
context. Nearby asset search and scan-and-search functionality don’t work if the buttons are
configured in another context.
Before you start
Make sure that Asset Details plugin version 3.0 is installed and activated.
Here's what to do

Add the Scan and Search Asset button.

Sign in to Oracle Fusion Field Service as an administrator.

Click Configuration.

Click Screens.

Open the Activity List page used for the mobile
worker's My Route page.

Add a button to the page.

Configure the button to open the Asset Details
plugin.

Set the button label, for example, Scan and Search.

Save the screen configuration.
When the mobile worker opens My Route, the button is
available from the activity list context.

Add the Nearby Assets button.

Sign in to Oracle Fusion Field Service as an administrator.

Click Configuration.

Click Screens.

Open the Activity List page used for the mobile
worker's My Route page.

Add a button to the page.

Configure the button to open the Asset Details
plugin.

Add the open parameter that enables Nearby Assets mode.

Set the button label, for example, Nearby Assets.
