Before You Create Distributable Project Value Rules

The capability to create distributable project value rules is available only with an opt-in to the following features:

• Project Costing and Capital Projects features in Project Financial Management

• Project Capitalization and Progress Management feature in Joint Venture Management

  Check with your administrator or see Opt in to Features Required for the Integration with Project Costing for more information.

In the Distributable project values page, you won't be able to select from a list of project numbers in the Project field unless your user profile is set up with the proper data access. If the values that you expect aren't available, ask your system administrator to set up your user profile with data access to the business units associated to the appropriate projects. See Assign Data Access to Users for more information.

The list of project values might include a large number of projects to choose from. If this is the case, you can ask your administrator to configure Joint Venture Management to display projects that are applicable only to the joint venture.
