Using Increment Mode When Uploading Combinations

You can add new combinations to cross-validation combination sets as well as update or delete existing combinations.

Let’s say your company made organizational changes that affect the combinations for the Valid CompanyLoBProducts cross-validation combination set.

Here are the changes that you need to make:

1. Extend the combination end dates of all companies that start with the letter A to December 31, 2022.
2. Add new combination B01AE-BU8-LOC5.

Here’s a summary of the steps that you would take:

1. From the Combination Sets tab on the Manage Cross-Validations page, select the Valid CompanyLoBProducts cross-validation combination set, and click Download.
2. On the Combinations dialog box, filter on company values that start with the letter A.

3. Click Prepare in Spreadsheet and after the process completes, click Download.
4. Extract the CrossValidationCombinationSet.zip file.
5. Open the .xlsm template. It should list the combinations with companies that start with the letter A. Change the end dates on those combinations to 2022/12/31. The selected action should be INSERT.
6. Add a row for the new combination B01AE-BU8-LOC5 and set the action to INSERT.
7. Validate the template and generate the CSV file.
8. Upload the file using the Upload action on the Combination Sets tab.
9. Select the Manage action to submit the Manage Account Combination Validation Rules process. Select the Import action and Increment mode.
