Configure the Fuel Product Code

You can configure fuel product codes.

For the fuel industry, the tax authority requires the fuel product code. The National Agency of Petroleum provides the standard codes. The fuel product code of the fiscal document is captured on the Update Fiscal Attributes page during transaction entry. The corresponding values are set up as lookup codes of the predefined Fiscal Document Fuel Product Code lookup type.

Follow these steps:

1. Navigate to the Manage Standard Lookups task.
2. Search for the Fiscal Document Fuel Product Code lookup type.
3. In the Lookup Codes section, click New.
4. In the Lookup Code field, enter the numeric fuel product code defined by the National Agency of Petroleum.
5. Click Enabled.
6. Enter the start date.
7. In the Meaning field, enter the fuel product code meaning.
8. In the Description field, enter the fuel product code description.
9. Click Save and Close.
