Configure a Pilot Rollout

Here's how you can create and run a pilot program in a test environment before enabling Expenses Agent for all users.

1. In the Setup and Maintenance work area, go to the Manage Profile Options task.
2. Create the EXM_TOUCHLESS_EXP_DOCIO profile option used for pilot testing and ensure that it’s enabled and updatable at site and user levels.
3. Add the profile option to the ORA_FND_AUTH_REST_ACCESS profile category.
   1. In the Setup and Maintenance work area, go to the Manage Applications Core Profile Categories task.
   2. Search for ORA_FND_AUTH_REST_ACCESS and add EXM_TOUCHLESS_EXP_DOCIO to it.
   3. Save your changes.
4. In Manage Administrator Profile Values, search for EXM_TOUCHLESS_EXP_DOCIO and set:
   • Site to N
   • User to Y for specific pilot users (bulk import supported)
5. Save your changes.

Note:

After pilot testing is complete, you can remove the EXM_TOUCHLESS_EXP_DOCIO profile option and any associated site or user-level values. This prevents the pilot configuration from continuing to control user scope or navigation. See Validation and Testing.
