Can Expenses Agent detect duplicate expenses?

Yes, starting in 26C, Expenses Agent includes duplicate detection that helps prevent the same receipt from creating multiple expenses and reduces the risk of duplicate reimbursement when an incoming expense may duplicate an expense that has already been submitted.

For example:

• If you email a receipt that was already uploaded as a scanned receipt, the application identifies it as a duplicate and doesn’t create another expense.
• If you scan and upload the same receipt more than once, the application identifies the duplicate receipt.
• If a receipt may represent the same spend as an existing submitted credit card or cash expense, the application flags it as a possible duplicate for user review.
