Improve the Content of an Article Using AI

You can use the AI tool to improve the content of an article. The AI tool can review the text by correcting grammar and spelling, shortening or expanding content, simplifying language, and enhancing overall writing quality while preserving meaning. It can also generate content by summarizing text or continuing existing content. Additionally, it can adjust tone to be professional, direct, or confident, rewrite content in business or legal styles.

To improve the content of an article using AI:

Open an article and click Edit.
Select the text that you want to improve.
Note: You can use the AI tool only in rich text fields.
Click the AI tool icon in the toolbar and select the appropriate action:
- Edit or review:
  - Improve writing: Fix spelling mistakes, use proper grammar and apply good writing practices. Do not lose the original meaning.
  - Make shorter: Remove any repetitive, redundant, or non-essential writing in this content without changing the meaning or losing any key information.
  - Make longer: Improve this content by using descriptive language and inserting more information and more detailed explanations.
  - Simplify language: Simplify the writing style of this content and reduce the complexity, so that the content is easy to understand.
- Generate from selection:
  - Summarize: Summarize this content into one paragraph of text. Include only the key ideas and conclusions. Keep it short. Keep original text formatting.
  - Continue: Start with the provided content and write at the end of it continuing this topic. Keep the added part short.
- Change tone:
  - Professional: Improve using polished, formal, and respectful language to convey professional expertise and competence.
  - Direct: Improve using direct language, using only the essential information.
  - Confident: Improve using compelling, optimistic language to convey confidence in the writing.
- Change style:
  - Business: Rewrite this content as a business professional with formal language.
  - Legal: Rewrite this content as a legal professional using valid legal terminology.
- AI assistant: Create new content using your input as a prompt.
Once AI has generated the suggested content, select the appropriate action:
- Replace: Replace the original text with the suggested text in the article.
- Insert below: Add the suggested text below the original text in the article.
- Try again: Regenerate the suggested text.
- Stop: Stop AI while it is generating suggested text.
Complete the required updates and click Save.
