Update Asset and Work Order

If a Maintenance Help Desk is enabled, you can link an asset to the help desk request and create a work order associated to the asset.

  1. In the IB Asset Information section, enter three or more characters to search for an asset.

  2. Select an asset from the search results.

  3. In the Maintenance Work Orders section, click the (+) add icon to create a work order.

  4. Complete the following fields as applicable:

    • Work Order Type

    • Work Order Sub Type

    • Organization Code

    • Maintenance Work Definition

    • Start Date

    • Priority

    • Description

  5. Click Save.
