How You Implement Benefits

A benefits hierarchy organizes the objects of a benefits program, plan types, benefit plans, and options. Depending on the outcome of your planning decisions, you have the flexibility to configure most aspects of a benefits package at more than one level.

A plan-type-in-program contains plan-in-program, which in turn, may or may not contain option-in-plan-in-program. Likewise, a plan-type-not-in-program contains plan-not-in-program, which in turn, contains option-in-plan-not-in-program.
