Attribute Categories for Custom Time Attributes

An attribute category can include a limited number of time attributes. This limit depends on the data type of the time attribute, as shown here.

If you've more than the specified number of attributes, you need to create another category. To retain the relationship between the categories for reports, you might want to use the same category name with an appended number.

You create attribute categories for the ORA_HWM_ATTR_CATEGORY lookup type using the Manage Common Lookups task in the Setup and Maintenance work area. The attribute categories are available for use when you create time attributes.
