Guidelines for loading global access group relations using GlobalAccessGroupRelation

Use the GlobalAccessGroupRelation object and HCM Data Loader to link a global access group to one or more items in the Oracle Learning catalog.

To verify that the relations loaded, search for and open the learning by its learning item number using the My Client Groups > Learning and Development > Learning Catalog task. On the learning details page, you should see the global access group in the appropriate order of priority.

You can't use GlobalAccessGroupRelation to update an existing global access group relation. To replace an existing relation, set an effective end date for it and create a new relation.

Validations

Here's how the load process validates global access group relations:

• Confirms that the RelationNumber value doesn't start with OLC.
• Confirms that the access group and learning item are active as of the EffectiveStartDate value.
