Guidelines for purging Oracle Learning assignments
You can permanently purge learning assignments with a Deleted status from Oracle Learning, including course, offering, learning path, legacy, noncatalog, and self-service learning assignments.
Purging a Deleted assignment also permanently purges this related data:
- Complete date-effective history.
- Assignment task-related data.
- The event assignment profile, including request details and assignment rules data, when the profile links only to the assignment being purged. If it links to other assignments, the profile isn't purged.
- Related offering assignments and their data when you purge the corresponding course assignment, provided the course and offering assignments are eligible for purge and have a Deleted status.
Course and offering assignments
Purging an offering assignment doesn't purge its corresponding course assignment or affect other offering assignments linked to the course, regardless of their statuses.
Purging a course assignment recursively purges its linked offering assignments and related data. All linked offering assignments must have a Deleted status. If any linked offering assignment has a different status, the purge ends in error.
Learning initiative assignments
Purging a course or learning path assignment linked to a learning initiative doesn't affect other learning assignments linked to the initiative.
