HCM Professional Activity Center

The HCM Professional Activity Center in the Redwood experience helps HR users review information about the people they support and complete HR actions for them. To access it, go to My Client Groups > Show More > Employment to open the HCM Professional Activity Center.

Features

Search

  • Search for people based on your role’s person security profile. If another HR user has delegated their role to you, you can search for people based on that user’s person security profile as well.

  • Keywords can be based on a worker's name, business title, work email, or person number.

  • Download search results to a Microsoft Excel file.

  • Use the Saved searches icon to save people search results and rerun them without re-entering search criteria. If you mark a saved search as default, the search results will always be available on the page each time you open it. System searches are available for all users, while personal searches are available only for the logged in user.

  • Use the Columns icon to select the columns you want in search results. Note that the Restore Defaults action in the Column drawer panel only restores columns that were displayed either in the current or last session. It doesn’t restore to factory defaults. Your administrator can also add more columns and control the order in which they're displayed using Oracle Visual Builder Studio. For details, see Extensibility for HCM Professional Activity Center.

  • Select a worker's name in the search results to open their Person Activity Center. To display it in a new tab or window, use the shortcut menu on the worker’s name.

  • The Person Activity Center for workers with terminated assignments or future hires isn't displayed. However, you can access their available quick actions from the Actions menu.

  • When the National ID column is enabled, only the last 4 digits of the national identifier are shown. The rest are masked.

Quick actions for specific workers

  • Use the Actions menu to perform quick actions for a worker.

  • In the search results section, use the Actions menu to perform quick actions for a worker. Return to the search results after completing the quick action because the search context is retained.

  • Select View More from the Actions menu to open a panel drawer that contains more worker-specific quick actions.

  • The search context is retained so you can return to prior results after completing any of the quick actions.

Generic quick actions

  • A default set of quick actions that aren't associated with a specific worker appears on the side panel.

  • Select View More on the side panel to view more quick actions.

  • Pin often-used quick actions to personalize your default set. Pinned actions are saved for future sessions in the same browser on the same device. They aren't shared across browsers or devices.

  • Open a quick action in the current browser tab or use the quick action shortcut menu to open it in a new tab.

Other in-page capabilities

  • In the Communication section, view communications broadcast by your organization through Journeys and other applications.

  • View journey tasks.

  • Call AI agents through guided journeys.
