Manage Funds

As marketing managers, you create funds or generate multiple fund records associated with a parent budget. Funds are of two types: fixed funds and accrual funds.

Funds generated from parent budget, inherit all relevant fields provided in the parent budget except for the fund value. The funds value is inherited from the value allocated to the fund in the Partners subtab of the parent budget.

When funds aren't associated with parent budgets, you define such funds independently. Also, set accrual rules for such independent accrual funds.

Accrual Funds

You can't change the value of accrual funds. Remember, the accrual fund is calculated using the rules of the parent budget, quantity of the products shipped, the revenue, and the fund duration. The duration of an accrual fund can't start before the parent budget or go beyond the partner budget end date.

Allocate Funds

You can allocation funds to one or more promotions. Associate each allocated promotion with a fund allocation record and track the fund allocation record individually.
