Use the Value Lists Provided by a Connection

For projects that have a B2C Service connection or a connector framework web service connection, the Value Lists subtab is automatically populated with the available value lists defined by that connection. These value lists are ready to be associated with attributes collected on a screen. Note that you can see and use any value list defined by the connection without having to map it to a particular field.

Value lists that are provided by the connection have a Source type of Connection.

A value list provided by a connection will be automatically updated with the latest list of values whenever the metadata is refreshed.

Intelligent Advisor supports retrieving lists of values from a wide range of Oracle B2C Service fields, as well as from custom menu item lists in Oracle B2C Service. For more information on supported B2C Service value lists, see Lists Supported for B2C Service.

Value lists obtained from connector framework web service connections are included in the GetMetadata response.

Tip: Value lists obtained from connections are demonstrated in the B2C Service Simple, Student Benefits and Travel Compensation example policy models installed with Policy Modeling.
