Welcome to Oracle Marketing

This document will guide you through the steps you must take to make the Oracle Marketing products that you ordered available to you, so that you can log in to your account(s) and complete the setup. It assumes that you are the designated account administrator for the product(s) you are activating.

  • This guide contains instructions for Oracle Responsys Service (Responsys).

  • Activation instructions for other Oracle Marketing products are contained in their respective guides. See the "Ready to Start" section below for the links.

This document is also for account administrators who need to make changes to the subscription so that users can access the newly added functionality that your organization purchased.

Ready to start?
  • New Oracle Responsys customers: Proceed to Your "Steps to Oracle Responsys" checklist.
  • Current Oracle Responsys customers who purchased subscription updates: If you need to update your service environment with product add-on features, or if you ordered additional Responsys environments, proceed to Updating subscriptions.
  • New Oracle Responsys Express customers: Instructions for activating your subscription are located in the Activate product subscriptions topic in the Oracle Responsys Express Help Center.

About Oracle Cloud Services and Oracle Marketing products

As the Cloud Services Account Administrator, you have access to the Oracle Cloud portal. You must use this portal to activate and update various Oracle Cloud Services.

Note for Oracle Responsys Marketing Platform Cloud Service customers: This is a metered subscription, with a prepaid subscription model.

  • For new customers, the buyer purchases a single “base account” and, optionally, add-on product features, which may include additional accounts. An account in Responsys is equivalent to a service environment in the Oracle Cloud portal. Use the Oracle Cloud portal to let Oracle know which accounts you would like to configure with which add-on features.
  • For upgrade customers, the buyer purchases add-on product features for existing accounts. Use the Oracle Cloud portal to let Oracle know which Responsys accounts (Oracle Cloud service environments) you would like to configure with the newly purchased features.
