Tagging followers

Important: The Oracle Eloqua WeChat app has been removed from the Oracle Cloud Marketplace and is no longer available for download. For customers with the app enabled, the app will remain active in its current form until December 1, 2022, after which the app will be sunset and no longer be available for use.

You can use the Eloqua-WeChat Integrator app to manage WeChat tags in the following ways:

Tagging followers via a campaign

You can tag WeChat followers who are managed as WeChat contacts in Eloqua by configuring the WeChat contact information synchronizer in a campaign and specifying a tag. When the contacts flow through the action element, your WeChat followers are tagged in the WeChat platform.

To tag your WeChat followers via a campaign:

  1. In Oracle Eloqua, open an existing campaign or create a new one.
  2. Drag a segment onto the campaign canvas that includes WeChat contacts whose OpenID is not blank (the segment has existing WeChat contacts that are subscribed to the official account).
  3. Drag the WeChat Contact Information Synchronizer element from the Actions section onto the canvas.
