Restricting contact fields from web data lookups

You can restrict specific contact field values from being used in web data lookups. This allows you to prevent the use of personally identifiable information (PII) in web data lookups.

To restrict contact fields from web data lookups:

1. Click Settings .
2. Click Fields & Views in the Database Setup area.
3. Search for and select the contact filed you want to update. In the Redwood experience, select the field. Click the actions menu and then click Edit.
4. Update the restrictions:
   • In the classic UI, click the Restrict access to this field from Web Data Lookups check box.
   • In the Redwood experience, click the Prevent use of this field in web data lookups check box.
5. Save your changes.
