Updating a contact, account, or custom data object with form data

You can update a contact, account, or custom data object record with information from a form. You can specify when to update the information as well. For example, whether to always update the information or update it only if it was previously blank. If the contact, account, or custom data object doesn't already exist, Oracle Eloqua will create a new record.

To update a contact, account, or custom data object with form data:

  1. Open a form or create a new one.
  2. Click Processing.

    2. In the Field Mapping section, verify that the form's source field is mapped to the applicable Oracle Eloqua field. To change a mapping, double-click the form field in the list.
