Editing picklists

Editing picklists in Oracle Eloqua enables you to update, add, remove, or reorder the options available to users and customers. Keeping your picklists current helps ensure consistent data quality and user experience.

Good to know:

  • For large picklists or lists where you are making many changes, consider exporting the list and re-importing it to save time.

  • The classic UI allows up to 2,500 values per picklist. The Redwood experience displays a maximum of 500 values per picklist. Lists larger than 500 in Redwood can only be managed by uploading values.
  • In the Redwood experience, you cannot have duplicate options (the same display name with different stored values). If your use case requires duplicate picklist options, a Controlled Availability (CA) setting is available. Contact Oracle Support to have this enabled.
