About Data Ingestion
Data ingestion imports data from external source systems into Fusion Unity Data Platform, maps the data to one or more data objects, and stores it in the Data Warehouse for downstream processing and Profile Unification.
UDP supports multiple data ingestion methods, each designed for different integration scenarios.
You can ingest data using the following methods:
Ingest Jobs
Use ingest jobs to import data from external source systems, map source fields to UDP data objects, and apply transformations during ingestion. See Define an Ingest Job for more information.
Near Real-Time Ingestion API
Use the Near Real-Time Ingestion API to ingest data directly from your source system into the UDP data warehouse objects with minimal latency.
Stream API
Use the Stream API to stream data from your source system into UDP. After the data is received, run Data Warehouse jobs to process and make the data available for downstream use.
